Dylan Elliott (she/her).
I am a London-based photographer with a background in visual anthropology.
My approach to photography builds upon the principles of practice-based study, as I am using photography as a tool for collaborative documentation of individual experiences, and research into specific social phenomena. Alongside working in an unstructured documentary style, I am also experimenting with interactive techniques, such as those of art-therapy, to use with participants in order to facilitate introspection and reflection, and to produce work in a reflexive and reciprocal manner.
Currently, my areas of interest are the ways in which we understand the concept of self, and how far we are able to disclose this through friendship.

I am always interested in collaborating, so please get in touch if would like to work together. I am particularly eager to work with writers and journalists on long-form projects.
Professionally, I specialise in BTS for film, theatre and live-events, which I predominantly shoot on film. I am comfortable shooting on digital when required. If you would like to hire me for a project, please get in touch via email: dylan57elliott@gmail.com
